The building of Bulgaria Mall started. It will be a trade center, located on the crossing of the boulevards Bulgaria and Todor Kableshkov.
The first sod was turned with a silver shovels by the investors LS Property and Salamanca Capital with the participation of the mayor of Sofia Boyko Borisov and the chief architect of Sofia Peter Dikov.
Bulgaria Mall is placed on 137,000 sq m. The trade areas will be 33,000 sq m and the office ones – 25,000 sq m. The complex will include 4 underground and 4 above-the-ground levels. More than 140 stores are planed, as well as 1,100 parking slots. The construction of Bulgaria Mall is expected to be finished in 2011.
The project was prepared by the famous architectural studio MYS Architects. Colliers International will coordinate the leasing of the areas. One of the first tenants in Bulgaria Mall is the leading French retail chain – Carrefour.
